Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

At Scoil Sinéad National School, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is used to enhance teaching, support learning and develop essential digital skills in a safe and age-appropriate way.

ICT is integrated across the curriculum to support creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking, while also preparing pupils to engage confidently and responsibly with technology.

All ICT use is guided by the school’s Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), which outlines expectations for pupils, staff and parents. Parents are encouraged to support safe and responsible technology use at home.

Communication and ICT

Technology is also used to support home–school communication. Scoil Sinéad National School uses Aladdin Connect to share important information with parents and carers, including school updates, messages and reports, in a secure manner.
